The desserts are excellent, bonus point for the lemon meringue tart and the Pistachio macaron 🥰 PS: I really like the principle of stopping by with a plate to see the desserts, it's really ingenious! The servers have a sense of humor, don't hesitate to chat with them and smiles are guaranteed! Affordable prices (even if it was the gentleman who paid lol) Thank you all. Delicious food and nice place just along the port, aside from the sound of the main street. Very good Gyozas and superb wok with prawns, well cooked and tasty! The owner has been really nice telling us the story about Corsica. Some waiters speak Italian as well which is always nice for someone that doesn’t speak French 😊 thanks again! We’ll come back

Place near the port, with parking for both motorbikes and cars. Very friendly staff, helped us choose the dishes. I absolutely recommend the pasta and the meat. Everything truly delicious!

I can really recommend Café del Mare to everyone. We ate there twice. From local dishes to Asian dishes to sushi, we tried everything and were really impressed. The very friendly service staff pampered us perfectly, from the wine recommendation to the dessert. We enjoyed staying there and will come back as soon as we go to Corsica again.

August 24..Beautiful and well-kept place...modern...Ideal for eating immediately after disembarking as it is located immediately at the exit of the gate of the port of Bastia...in fact, as soon as you exit, the restaurant sign is visible on the right ..pastas with sauces and seafood condiments...pizzas...seafood second courses..all good and fresh...at affordable prices for being in Corsica...to taste the seafood wok...rich dish soy spaghetti of seafood and vegetables there is a nice prawn on top...you can eat it both indoors with air conditioning and outdoors near a pier where some boats are docked...highly recommended!!!...

A great discovery! The menu is varied, with options for all tastes: sushi, pasta, pizza, meat, fish, etc. Desserts are presented at the table, which adds a nice touch. The dishes are well prepared, and the atmosphere inside the restaurant is warm, as are the servers, who are smiling, fast and attentive.

26/08/2025: If you want to experience a unique human and culinary experience, stop by Denis and Jean Marc's. If you're looking for a cozy, classic restaurant, move on; that's not what they're after. However, if you want to eat at a local's home and feel like you're at home with family, take the time to meet this wonderful family and taste everything Denis and his wife cook for you. At the bar, you'll definitely share a drink with their son, Jean Marc, and why not a game of pétanque with the kids, along with chestnut, myrtle, or hazelnut liqueurs? As for the prices, this is still one of the rare places where you won't get gouged, with a bill that's more than reasonable and even ridiculously cheap. While on vacation in Bastia, it would be a shame not to discover these people and this place.
20/08/2025: Extraordinary! We've been there 5 times and it's always great. Everything is perfect, an unusual, friendly and welcoming setting, a magnificent view, a change of scenery, rustic and warm, a welcoming and friendly owner and his family :) And above all, excellent Corsican food, homemade with local produce, generous dishes and unbeatable value for money! A very nice discovery!! We'll be back!

02/12/2024: Bon emplacement , bon accueil , bon service , belle terrasse . Bref c'est bien et c'est bon . Prix légèrement élevé . Le pain est bon . La suggestion veau Rossini est correcte en revanche les pennes qu'il accompagne sont natures. ( 30 euros ) . Bonne Panna cotta mangue . Bonnes conso bière et café .
23/08/2024: Très bon accueil, beau restaurant avec climatisation agréable en été, nous avons été très satisfait des plats servi ainsi que sont contenu vraiment très bon quelque soit le plat ,nous recommandons vivement ce lieu. A bientôt j'espère bonne continuation à l'équipe.
