We had a fantastic time with the family at Cafe du Donjon! The food was delicious, excellent value for money 👍 The staff was amazing, everyone was so friendly. Thanks to Patrick, Sophie, Tétine, and the Tuches in the kitchen 😉

Coming from the north and unfamiliar with the area, we came for lunch as a family this Sunday and it was an excellent discovery: the welcome, the service, the quality of the ingredients, and the very generous portions. On a business trip, I booked one of the balcony rooms. The room's charm, preserved in its original stonework, was tastefully maintained, and the view of the keep was magnificent. I didn't have the chance to try the restaurant, but I did enjoy a drink and received a wonderfully warm welcome. A special mention goes to "Sophie," who will know who she is 😉, for her humor, kindness, and professionalism, which clearly stem from her extensive experience in the restaurant industry. I highly recommend it.

A magical moment on the terrace facing the Keep After the Christmas market, we were looking for a restaurant to sit down at. The Café du Donjon was the obvious choice, with its ideal location facing the monument. Arriving late and without a reservation, the service was already well underway. Since the inside was full, we were offered a table on the terrace, with a warning about a possible wait in the kitchen. It was December 14th, the temperature was 13°C (55°F), the sun was shining brightly, and we were with friends, with no time constraints. The idea of ​​lunch on the terrace, bathed in sunlight filtering behind the keep, immediately appealed to us. Vero, very professional and straightforward, seated us on the terrace, clearly explaining the conditions. The welcome was warm, attentive, smiling, and professional. The drinks arrived quickly, the dishes were ordered, and in the end, the anticipated wait was very reasonable. The setting is exceptional: a sun-drenched spot in the middle of December, with temperatures climbing to 20°C. The food is delicious, the wine (2019 vintage) excellent, and the conversations with Vero are warm and friendly. Special mention for the crème brûlée for dessert 👌. This moment shared with friends, in this historic and light-filled setting, will remain a magical interlude. The staff's attentiveness makes all the difference and makes you want to linger. A huge thank you to the whole team—Patrick, Sophie, and of course, Vero—for this wonderful experience. 10/10, with the cherry on top. We'll be back!
