CAFÉ FRANÇAIS Very friendly restaurant Themed evenings on weekends (reservations recommended) I highly recommend the mussels; they are excellent. In addition to the à la carte menu, there is a variety of dishes to choose from (daily specials). The service is very friendly, and the staff is kind.

I've been coming to this restaurant for 14 years, and the food is always excellent. When I see some of the negative reviews, I just don't understand them! Excellent value for money!! I recommend it to anyone visiting Mont Noir.

Chicken too dry! I think those were really good homemade fries. It would be nice if the toilets were repaired and cleaned, and if there were a toilet seat for the women's restrooms!! Thank you

26/01/2026: I came to your place after a trail run, just for a drink, and you very kindly invited us to stay for dinner. I didn't want to impose... and yet we were treated like royalty! I was able to enjoy your Welsh rarebit, without a doubt the best I've ever had—so much so that I didn't even realize there was no egg. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp croquettes. The prices are reasonable, and the service is perfect. A big thank you to the whole team!
04/01/2026: We went there on a Sunday at lunchtime and were lucky to get a table: the place was full within minutes. We understood why! The food is excellent and the value for money is just as good. I'll gladly go back!

Le Chalet du mont noir La Bosse

12/04/2026: In a charming, old-fashioned setting (a traditional pub), with undeniably homemade cuisine, I had my best potch ever, as well as a delicious speculoos tiramisu. It was my first visit, but many other dishes tempted me, and I'll definitely be back. Many thanks to them for this excellent Sunday lunch.
28/03/2026: Judging by the signs, they're clearly short a cook and a server... but at no point were we apologized for the wait... 1 hour and 15 minutes for an aperitif with a charcuterie board. The bacon was very spicy, the Welsh rarebit (18.5 euros) had a strong taste of alcohol, and the fries were dry. The meat was fresh...
