Café l'Écomotive sur Marseille

We went there multiple times during our trip to Marseille, the menu changes daily which is very nice as they focus on fresh ingredients. The staff were really friendly, the cafe has a cool aesthetic and the food is super good, lovely homemade style food. The earl grey tea is fantastic aswell. They serve lunch between 12-2, we found that after about 1:30-1:40 they might be sold out of some items, so if you want to be able to try anything on the menu, I would recommend going closer to 12. A superb meal, well-presented, plentiful, and full of flavor: broccoli soup and leek and spinach lasagna. Easy to get to, everything is homemade with love, you can tell!

I loved it! Everything is designed for a pleasant wait before your train departs, or simply for a delicious break. We were delighted to warm up on a rainy Sunday while waiting for my train. Instead of giving my money to the chain stores in the station, I was happy to make a concrete and charitable gesture. You can pay for a "suspended coffee" (a person in need can receive the coffee you pay for in advance). However, don't be in a hurry; there were a few people ahead of us, so we had to wait a while before being served, but everything was prepared with care! Magazines and books are available, as well as power strips to charge our phones or laptops... Well done and thank you!
