I tried this place without any preconceived notions, simply wanting a good Turkish sandwich. The result is… decent, but nothing special. The meat is fine: well-cooked, well-seasoned, with a pleasant taste. Nothing bad, nothing shocking, but nothing that would make you want to cross Paris to come back. Let's just say it's good, well-executed… but nothing to write home about. Decent, but more; it lacks that little something extra: either a generous portion or a truly distinctive flavor. The portions are clearly small for this type of cuisine and the prices. You leave feeling rather unsatisfied, especially if you have a normal appetite. For a sandwich that's supposed to be filling, it's a bit skimpy. And as a result, the value for money suffers. The price is rather high for what's served on the plate (or in the bread). The atmosphere doesn't help either: it's small, a bit cold, and not very welcoming. You don't linger there; you just pop in, eat, and leave. The service is adequate and polite, without being particularly warm or memorable. In short: – The meat is decent, well-seasoned, but nothing special. – The portions are far too small. – The price is too high for what it is. – The place is cold and uninviting. It's not bad, but it's not memorable, far from it. You don't go there with displeasure, but you don't eagerly return. It's an "okay" place, nothing more, which would greatly benefit from being more generous or more adventurous.
