Nice restaurant with very reasonable prices for Paris. Attentive and friendly staff.

Their legendary couscous is still as good as ever. We regret the disappearance of the French toast-style brioche from the menu; it was absolutely divine (but perhaps it will return? ;-) ). The dining room is a bit noisy, but we happily return because the prices are very reasonable.

A little gem! Exceptional value for money. Café Salé is located in a former, deconsecrated synagogue; the building is magnificent. Beers are €4 during happy hour. The couscous is excellent and served in a family-style way, in the couscous pot, to be shared with the table. It was so good and so generous that we took the leftovers home in doggy bags. One of the two waiters was incredibly friendly and smiling, despite our large group.

It would still be a good place if the prices hadn't increased so much in the last few months. As a result, there are fewer young people there.

Excellent find! Everything was perfect: from the welcome to the food. The dishes were generous and delicious, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. There was a wide variety of dishes to suit all tastes. Flawless!

An unusual, peaceful, and very charming place. The staff are very welcoming, and the couscous is very good.

I like this place, but it's gone downhill since the start of the school year... The café has succumbed to the ridiculous trend of mini fries... It looks nice, but it's a cheap trick, and as a result, the portions have shrunk... A very bad idea. The burger has lost its little salad, the mixed platter has lost its ground beef... Sure, the prices haven't changed, but I think cutting corners like that, especially with the portion sizes, isn't great. I don't know if the management has changed or if it's the chef, but it's a shame. Edit: As of December 2025; prices have also increased by an average of €1 per dish... so the offerings plus this... meh. 😳 At least give us back the proper portions! 👀

Excellent value for money. The couscous is very good. The homemade fries are excellent. Don't hesitate to go in.
