Cafe Viktor sur Rouen

A pleasant setting, not exceptional inside, but it's fine. The main draw is the huge terrace on the square, with both sun and shade. The prices are quite reasonable for the Presqu'île, and the menu isn't too extensive, just the way I like it. Finally, a special mention goes to the young and friendly service team, familiar but not overly so, which makes you feel right at home. A second special mention for this establishment where you're also well received if you're a dog: absolutely dog-friendly!

Excellent service and attractive prices

It wasn't bad, but the beers weren't poured properly; they lacked that head, that creamy texture, you know, the way a good beer should be. The service was friendly. The most unpleasant thing was the friends from the movie Ratatouille, like Remy's friends. We chose to sit near the gardens, and to our surprise, some rather large rats kept scurrying around, making our time on the terrace less than pleasant. Watch your feet!

Happy hour: pints of white beer and Virgin Mojitos for 5 euros. Both were served ice cold, but there was a bit of a wait. The waiter was friendly; when I changed my mind, he cancelled my order without any trouble and with a smile. The setting near the park is pleasant, but the terrace was noisy because it was very crowded.
