Third visit and still excellent exhibitions of outsider art. The space is well optimized for this type of exhibition.

Nice place. Be aware that the bookstore is very small and poorly organized.

We went to Les Halles Saint-Pierre somewhat by chance. It was raining so hard that we cut our visit to Sacré-Cœur short to go to Les Halles, which is right next door.
That's how we stumbled upon the exhibition: "The Fabric of Dreams."
What an absolute marvel! Everything is perfect. The choice of artists presented. The works themselves. How they are displayed. The lighting. The presentation. The colors. I could have spent hours contemplating them, admiring them, there are so many colors and details. I was particularly taken with Stéphane Blanquet's work and the level of precision and detail he put into his giant canvas.
If I had to make one criticism: the shop assistant was really unfriendly...not very smiley or welcoming, and she was quite condescending...
In short, go see this exhibition, it's really worth it!

The setting is really very pleasant, and the coffee, cappuccino, or Viennese coffee is quite good.
Perfect service.

A truly unique place, off the beaten track in Paris. La Halle Saint-Pierre combines art, culture, and a bohemian atmosphere at the foot of Montmartre. Original exhibitions, an interesting bookshop, and a delightful café where you can relax. A creative space worth a visit for its unique atmosphere alone.

I had a very pleasant lunch at this place. I had a crumble which was delicious, but the salad that came with it wasn't fresh at all and even looked stale, judging by the color of the leaves! A shame.

Halle Saint-Pierre is a must-see when we return to Paris. If you love Art Brut, artists with uncommon careers and lives, and unusual exhibitions, HS-P is the place to spend an hour, visiting the always interesting exhibitions, the beautiful bookshop stocked with catalogs, and the on-site café. A break or an alternative destination from the crowded mainstream of Sacré-Coeur and Montmartre.

The Halle Saint-Pierre is without a doubt my favorite exhibition space in Paris. I return every time, almost like a pilgrimage. What I love is that the art brut exhibitions follow one another but are never the same, and each visit is a revelation and a complete discovery.
The space itself is magical. You immediately feel at ease when you enter this large hall with its wrought-iron structure, which gives the building an incredible soul.
Right now (January 2026), the "textile" theme of the two exhibitions is simply magnificent! It's amazing to see how artists manage to transform thread and fabric into such powerful works. And then, I can't leave without spending some time in the bookstore. It's incredible, incredibly well-stocked, with art books and certain magazines that you can't find anywhere else. And if you fancy a break, the café there is also very nice (otherwise, head to La Crèmerie, just a 5-minute walk away!).
In short, if you're looking for a cool place with consistently surprising exhibitions, go for it, it's a gem!
