The most beautiful bookstore in Montmartre. It's a multi-functional space that combines a bookstore, café, and exhibition hall. The atmosphere is wonderful.

As usual, some great discoveries. A few works that might be a little disturbing for sensitive viewers (related to death).

A fantastic place, and the "The Fabric of Dreams" exhibition is superb; it's a real feast for the eyes. The staff are very pleasant.

Visited on December 18, 2025. Located to the side of the Sacré-Cœur steps, this small museum/café/bookstore is worth a visit. A steel structure on two levels and a basement with restrooms and a cloakroom. Originally a covered market, since the 1980s it has been an exhibition space for so-called outsider art, off the beaten track. To view the exhibitions, you must pay to access the upper floor. On the ground floor, there is a bookshop and a café where you can eat well at very competitive prices. The two ladies at the counter are very friendly, one of whom even speaks decent Italian. The selection is limited but high-quality, making it an excellent lunchtime treat. Choose from the cream soup of the day or the quiche of the day à la campagnate with two very good crostini, salad, bread, and Parisian water. I had the zucchini and carrot cream soup, which was really good and light, and a fruit juice for a total of €16.80. A wide selection of desserts and pastries. There were few tourists; it seemed more frequented by Parisians. But I highly recommend it. On the ground floor, there's also a permanent exhibition of naive art from the 1970s. If you have difficulty walking or are simply tired, the bus stop for bus 40 is not far away. This circular bus runs up the entire Montmartre hill, stopping at all the most important sites, both on the way there and back. It's an excellent alternative to the metro and funicular, but especially to the countless steps.

A truly interesting experience and place; I highly recommend it to everyone.
