Calabrisella sur Thourotte

I came with my family and we discovered a really great restaurant; the pizzas are delicious and generous.

Arriving late at my hotel for a business trip, I followed the receptionist's advice and went to La Calabrisella. Getting a table without a reservation after 8:40 PM on a weekday in restaurants in my home region is a real challenge. Upon entering, I was greeted with a smile and a resounding "yes" to my question: "Are you still serving?" (even though the remaining customers were already having coffee...). Comfortably seated in a quiet area, I received helpful advice and chose the HOMEMADE pizza (Why not!). I wasn't having a religious meal, so it had to be quick: by the time I'd started on my pint, the pizza was on the table. Generous, delicious, crispy... Perfect. I left after a good coffee around 9:25 PM, I think. And without having blown my travel budget! Another very pleasant surprise from my business trips. Go for it !!

The restaurant is nice, decorated simply but tastefully. The dishes are high quality and mostly generous portions; the lasagna and pizza are excellent. The tiramisu, profiterole, and gourmet coffee are superb. The staff is pleasant and welcoming, perfectly playing the roles of good cop and bad cop; you can feel the team's camaraderie even when it's busy.

I came to eat on a Friday evening and the restaurant was packed. However, the wait was short, the pizzas were hot with fresh, expertly prepared ingredients, and the fries were crispy yet soft – perfectly cooked! The service was friendly and pleasant, not to mention the tiramisu for dessert, which was fantastic. I highly recommend it!

The waitress was fantastic, so kind and friendly, she made your meal enjoyable with a smile. The pizzas were excellent, and my husband loved the ribeye steak, which was superb. Thanks to the bartender for the great cocktails. We look forward to returning.
