Another great experience with the carte blanche menu!

We opted for the three-course surprise lunch menu at €45: soft-boiled egg with mushrooms, fillet of meagre with carrot purée, and candied apricots with crumble and yogurt. I felt it lacked vibrancy, whether in the menu selection (which felt more autumnal than summery), the flavors (which were okay but sorely lacking in zest), or the rather slow service. Finally, we would have appreciated some small snacks to nibble on during the 30-minute wait for the starter, which was, incidentally, quite small.

A very enjoyable evening at this establishment. The six-course menu was surprising as well as delicious, and the atmosphere was enhanced by a very talented singer.

We came here for a celebratory lunch. We ended up being the only ones there. The decor is nice, but there's not much seating. The service was excellent. We ordered two daily menus. Everything was delicious, but the combinations weren't impressive. The bottled water was very expensive.

Nothing to complain about the food, a star-worthy experience with the tasting menu, truly fantastic! I didn't give it a fifth star because the wine pairing was quite disappointing. It could have been better. For example, the first wine was a Prosecco export that the waiter presented as a Lebanese recipe but made in Italy? (I didn't quite understand what he meant). Also, I understand and, on the one hand, appreciate the informal service, but the young man who served us spoke barely comprehensible English, and the descriptions of the dishes were a bit sketchy. I would have preferred a more classic approach and atmosphere.

We returned to this establishment to share with our son an experience we had thoroughly enjoyed during our first visit, when Vartivar Jarkezian was the chef. At that time, the cuisine possessed a truly Armenian identity, original and memorable, accompanied by a fine selection of Middle Eastern wines. It was precisely this identity that had drawn us back. However, we discovered during this visit that the management and the chef had changed. The cuisine is now more oriented towards a French style, as is the wine list. While the dishes were competently prepared, we found the level significantly lower than that of our first experience. In our opinion, the quality and originality that had defined the restaurant have largely disappeared. What disappointed us most was the lack of any mention of the change in chef, even though it profoundly alters the experience offered, particularly considering the price of a tasting menu. I don't wish to criticize the establishment, as the food remains decent. However, it's important for returning customers to know that the restaurant's identity has completely changed. For tourists discovering the place for the first time, this might be perfectly fine. For those returning expecting the experience that made the place famous, it could be a real disappointment.

The food was really good (I had lamb) and the service was excellent.
