My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal at this excellent restaurant; the food was delicious. The duck breast was wonderful, and the homemade tarte tatin was divine! If you're not looking for anything flashy, if you want to avoid tourist traps, and if you appreciate cuisine made with high-quality, flavorful ingredients, Carnival is the place for you. Everything was perfect, the service impeccable and very friendly. In short, an excellent experience that we highly recommend.

Beautiful location, great food, excellent service (Alberto was extremely attentive and courteous, immediately checking to see what dishes we could choose given my husband's intolerance). Highly recommended!

A decent Italian restaurant on the quayside in Menton. We had oysters as a starter, which were fine. The steak au poivre was tender and flavorful. The spaghetti with crabmeat was good, though it could have been seasoned a bit more. Annoyingly, the wine wasn't cold, and while the waiter did chill it briefly, he didn't seem to care otherwise. So, overall, it was okay, but I wouldn't necessarily return.

The meat was well cooked and succulent, I found the side dish a little light, dessert was good, drinks were expensive, otherwise the people were welcoming.

The interior of this restaurant is very simple. It's quiet, and the service is quick and efficient. The spaghetti is very good, with finally enough prawns. The calamari and artichokes are delicious! The crème brûlée is good. The price is reasonable for downtown Menton!

We came last night for our daughter's birthday and weren't disappointed at all!! We had spaghetti with prawns. Spaghetti with seafood. Fusilloni all'amatriciana. And a ribeye steak with baked potatoes. A TREAT FOR THE TASTE BUDS!!!! Real seafood!!! Real bacon!!! The waiter was lovely!! Highly recommended!!!!!

First time at this restaurant. The dishes are excellent, made with very high-quality ingredients and expertly prepared. Congratulations to the chef. The service is impeccable, with a warm and attentive welcome. I highly recommend it.

28/03/2026: The waiters are mean. The food isn't good. But honestly, the service was excellent, the food was excellent, and I loved the waitresses' attitude. We got told off for not finishing our dishes, I was dying of laughter. Top-notch, I don't recommend it, not a tourist trap like the others. 👌👌 The photo was just the appetizer; I had a tartare which was excellent. Goat cheese, I can't quite remember what it was 😮😅 Just bravo!
03/03/2026: It was our last meal in Menton. Food was good. The service was rude. We ordered an entree to share and two mains. We did expect the entree to come first instead of everything coming together on the table.

03/03/2026: It was a real pleasure to have lunch at this restaurant. The servers were wonderful. We had an excellent bouillabaisse, prepared with care. And let's not even mention the crêpes sucette. Excellent and made right in front of us.
