Casa Leon sur Collioure

Sitting down you are presented with a platter of beautiful fish you can choose off the menu. We picked a a nice sea bass and were very happy with the expert way it was handled in the kitchen...perfectly grilled , presented at table and then deboned for service... excellent salt boiled jacket potatoes and some really tasty zucchini were served along side.. The local white was dry and had a interesting saline quality the grapes had obviously picked up from the sea air where they grew..perfect with the fish...The fish soup started was also comforting on a cool. day, served its toast, cheese. and aioli. For desert , we split a bowl of their famous chocolate mousse and could barely finish it... rich and super yummy. All in all a happy ,satisfying meal served by a friendly , obliging staff who took good care of us and our dog Nika!

Nice little restaurant. A Monday evening in mid-February. It's not easy to find nice restaurants in Collioure out of season. Friendly welcome. Decent service time. Adequate portion size, a little more wouldn't have gone amiss. Top quality!
