Hello, The service was excellent. I went with my two young children, and the cheese naan was very good. The rice and curry was perfect, not too spicy, unlike some other restaurants. The fried rice was also very good. One evening, my children really wanted cheese naan, so I called the restaurant owner, and she was able to prepare it quickly. Thank you so much! This was my first time trying Sri Lankan cuisine, and overall, my experience wasn't much different from the positive reviews I'd seen on Google :D. The first thing that impressed me was the generous portion sizes (for me). The stir-fried dishes were well-seasoned; although the spices were strong, they suited my Vietnamese palate perfectly. The curry sauce had a distinctive aroma and a distinct spiciness, but it didn't overpower the other flavors. The chicken was tender and well-seasoned, making it a great accompaniment to rice. However, there was something that puzzled me. I arrived at the restaurant around 2 PM, when Google still showed it as open, but the door was locked 🥲. Inside, there was a table of customers sitting, though I wasn't sure if they were regular customers or acquaintances of the owner. After a while, a staff member came out, opened the door, and invited me in, but didn't offer any further explanation. I was a little hesitant at first, but I was so hungry that I just shrugged it off haha ​​😁. I initially planned to order Devilled Chicken because it's a dish that's been mentioned quite a lot in reviews, but when I arrived, the restaurant only had chicken curry rice, stir-fried noodles, and another dish whose name I can't remember. In the end, I chose the chicken curry rice. When I arrived, the restaurant didn't have many staff, so I had to wait quite a while for my food. But the wait was totally worth it. The chicken curry rice was really delicious; I still remember its flavor to this day (I'm getting hungry again just thinking about it 😆). If this is your first time trying Sri Lankan food, I think the "New Ceylon Teaa" restaurant is definitely worth trying. Personally, I would definitely return if I had the chance, especially to try their "famous" Devilled Chicken.

Absolutely flawless! The food is simply delicious and fragrant; the chicken served with the biryani was sublime! The desserts were also very good, and everything was homemade. The chef is very kind and talented. However, expect a bit of a wait, but the dishes are well worth it!

A very charming restaurant tucked away in the heart of Lourdes. The dishes are prepared by the owner, who is also the only cook, which is very commendable and appreciated. I highly recommend it!
