06/04/2026: Another excellent restaurant where we always receive a warm welcome. Special mention for the trout gravlax and the menu featuring Bigorre black pork, a local specialty. They also gave us great advice on choosing the perfect wine pairing. We come back every year, summer and winter.

02/04/2026: A wonderful evening at this little restaurant in Saint-Larry-la-Grange. Simple, generous, and well-prepared cuisine—exactly what we were looking for. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Special mention to the waiter: attentive, smiling, and present without being intrusive. A welcome like this is rarely seen, which made the evening even more enjoyable. Very reasonable prices. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

18/04/2026: We had a wonderful time at La Galette d’Or! We were served quickly. The dining room seats about 20, and up to 40 in the summer with the outdoor seating, so it's best to book in advance during peak season. We received a very warm welcome from an extremely pleasant, friendly, and humorous gentleman, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We also greatly appreciated the involvement of the owner and his wife, who particularly enjoys making homemade crêpe batter, which adds a real touch of authenticity. The savory galettes are thin, with a truly delicious homemade batter, and generously filled with high-quality ingredients sourced from local producers. The batter, for both the savory and sweet crêpes, is homemade, and you can taste the difference! The sweet crêpes are just as good: the homemade chocolate is excellent, and the salted caramel is simply divine. Special mention goes to the homemade vanilla ice cream, which is also excellent, and you can taste it from the first bite! The prices are very reasonable considering the quality offered. In addition to the delicious food, we learned a lot about the origins of the products, which made the experience even more enriching. A place I highly recommend!

I even ate the vegetables, which I don't usually like. We will definitely be back with our family next time, and we will be delighted to return to see how the menu has changed. 01/04/2026: A little gem in Argelès Gazost. They have a set menu for €40 (starter, main course, and dessert), and everything is delicious. They also offer a small complimentary appetizer. The waitress is lovely. Upon arrival, she offered us a very tasty homemade cocktail (€12), and then we ordered wine by the glass (€6). It's well worth spending some time at this restaurant.
