04/06/2026: Fantastic place! The owner is very friendly and the food is high quality and well-prepared. Our burgers were cooked exactly to our liking and were absolutely delicious—in our top 3 best burgers, without a doubt!

29/06/2026: Traditional regional cuisine, made with local produce, served in generous portions. Simple and welcoming atmosphere and service. Short but interesting wine list. A minor drawback: the cheese, which lacked flavor (a shame given the abundance of high-quality cheeses in the region). The same goes for the bread. Free parking is available in front of the restaurant (but be aware that spaces are somewhat limited). A good place for a relaxed and enjoyable dinner at a reasonable price.

30/05/2026: A small restaurant you absolutely must try; the food is excellent. I've personally tried almost everything on the menu, and there's nothing to complain about except that you have to go inside to discover it for yourself. An excellent restaurant that also offers takeout and delivery.

We tried several establishments in St. Lary, and our favorite remains, without a doubt, "Au Balcon". The dishes were seasoned to perfection, and the side salad had the perfect flavor (rare, as most restaurants offer bland salads without dressing). The dishes are homemade with love and are served quickly, and the atmosphere is pleasant. Whether with a large group or just the two of you, you'll create wonderful memories and meet new people.

24/05/2026: Came here for dinner with a couple friends and really enjoyed our experience here. It’s a husband and wife operation, the wife was the server and the husband was the chef. The dinner was a set menu with a couple different options for appetizer, entree, and dessert. The food was very creative and delicious and we enjoyed the taste combinations and local ingredients. The wife was very friendly, spoke English, and was super helpful with the menu and explaining everything. Highly recommend getting a reservation here though, they have limited space and only can serve a set number of people.

30/06/2026: We didn't pay for parking, which is usually €8. I don't know if it was because it was a weekday. From the bridge to the lake, it's an hour's walk uphill, which is quite long. Even during a heatwave, it was really nice there. A very beautiful place. The restaurant by the lake only accepted cash.
