They know how to cook meat properly (which isn't so common...) and even over the fireplace—a true art form! The impressive hearth isn't just for show; the cast-iron stove heats up beautifully, and the terrace, furnished with vintage pieces, offers inviting sun loungers in the summer. The fries are truly homemade, tender and crispy, and homemade fries are a sure sign of the care and attention they put into making them! In short, it's local, convivial, and a guaranteed success.

The welcome, atmosphere, and venue were fantastic! ❣️ The food needs improvement (e.g., the Toronto beef was too fatty). Nevertheless, we had a very enjoyable evening.

We visited in winter, when it was 0°C outside. It was very cozy inside with the fireplace, and the decor is truly authentic. A three-course menu was offered for a very reasonable price, and the food was delicious. Highly recommended! Not touristy, friendly service only in French. Google Maps directs you to a locked gate next to the restaurant; the entrance is 50 meters back, hidden among the reeds. Luckily, the phone number on Google Maps was correct when we asked for help.
