Le Grand Cafe sur Saint-Laurent-D'Aigouze

The food was very good and the prices very reasonable. Unfortunately, the waitress seemed completely exhausted, which somewhat spoiled our experience…we felt a little out of place…not very welcoming.

I sat on the small, typical southern French terrace with my family. We were greeted with a big smile and offered the menu... A €25 set menu for three people with three starters and three main courses, except for the desserts, which offered even more choices. We received beautifully presented and delicious plates. We were so delighted with the experience that we booked for the next day, and the verdict was the same: pure pleasure and the discovery of regional dishes. A must-visit if you're ever in the area, and to top it all off, we were surrounded by actors from the TV series "Here It All Begins"...

A very good restaurant visited today. It was quite busy, but the terrace was very pleasant even when full, with a lovely view of the church and fountain. The service was pleasant, all the staff friendly and smiling. Bonus for fans of the area: everything starts with a breathtaking view of the castle where the filming took place, and you might even catch a glimpse of a few actors. I recommend it.

A bit disappointed; we called several times for a second drink and the servers didn't respond. Not very welcoming. But the desserts were very good.

Let's be honest, we were in the village hoping to meet some of the ITC cast and crew... Mission accomplished. And naturally, we went to eat at the nearest restaurant. And we have no regrets. First of all, the waitresses were very friendly and professional despite the intense heat. Their salads were generous, made with quality ingredients. The hamburgers were equally well-prepared. It's a really great place in a great location.

We've eaten here several times during a cycling tour. As always, we were very satisfied. The Gardiane de Taureau is fantastic. Everything was delicious. We'll definitely be back.

A great spot in the heart of the small village of Saint Laurent d'Aigouze. Shady, with a lovely terrace, and a warm, friendly welcome. The daily menu is very good, with generous portions for an affordable price for a starter/main/dessert. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the service is quick, I highly recommend it.

Very good. Excellent meat. Very good wine.
