Chachenga sur Paris

Amazing food, so delicious, I highly recommend it! I went to the food truck at the Eurockéennes festival in Belfort. It's a shame the restaurant is in Paris; come open one in Belfort, I'll be customer number one! 👍🤪

I came to try this food truck in La Défense. It was really good. Victims of their own success, you have to be patient at lunchtime because the queue to order and then to receive your order is long. There was a small mistake with our order; we both received plantains when I had ordered sweet potatoes. Nevertheless, it was clear they were giving their best.

A chance discovery (which worked out perfectly!) of this Beninese food truck on the steps of the François Mitterrand Library one Tuesday at lunchtime. Curiosity being a virtue, I decided to give it a try. And wow... simply... a delight! The service from the couple was enthusiastic, warm, and friendly. There was practically no wait. And a sirloin steak, sliced perfectly rare, cooked with unfamiliar spices that gave the dish a vibrant color: you're instantly transported, despite the MK2 cinema sign right next door. Sweet potatoes were cooked to perfection, beautifully colored, and the vegetables were crisp and tangy for added freshness. It was pure, exotic indulgence. The mango and passion fruit dessert was just as wonderful. In short: a fantastic time, a fantastic lunch, a fantastic discovery, and a very reasonable price. Bravo and thank you!
