The staff were very friendly and the terrace was lovely. The food was good. One small detail, unrelated to the food or the ambiance, but which could be bothersome: Please be mindful of the smoking tables. We had three smokers who went through a pack of cigarettes between them in an hour, and even though there was ventilation, it was unpleasant. They seemed to be friends with one of the waiters, judging by their conversation and the way they were served. It would have been easy to seat them around the perimeter of the terrace instead of in the center.

Despite the terrace already being quite full, they kindly added a table for two and our dog. The service and the meal were excellent. It was a lovely way to end our day on the island.

Disappointed... we went the day before and were fine, but the next day they only served us one dish because we hadn't made a reservation... The dishes were very disappointing, completely tasteless... We ordered desserts that we didn't receive! They shouldn't take walk-in customers for fools!

We just had lunch with our two daughters, it was excellent. The service was professional, the staff welcoming, and the added bonus of a changing table was great! 👌 We'll definitely be back 🙂

14/07/2026: A WONDERFUL DISCOVERY A beautiful spot nestled in the heart of Sainte Marie de Ré. Only ten rooms in a verdant setting, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Superb room and generous breakfast. What a joy to take a dip in the pool after a day of cycling! The owner is friendly and attentive to her guests' comfort. Highly recommended, and thank you again for these three days. Hervé and Guylaine
14/06/2026: Very beautiful hotel with a good location. Friendly hostess and staff. Nice heated pool, everything was perfect. Breakfast starting at 8:30 was sometimes a bit late for us, but excellent nonetheless, with fresh local products.

02/07/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant, which we stumbled upon on Place des Tilleuls: we were so glad we did! They offer all the classic bistro dishes, but we preferred the more original options on the daily specials board. The portions were generous and delicious, and the service was friendly and efficient. A place to remember!
