"Chakaiseki Akiyoshi" offers an authentic tea ceremony kaiseki experience in Paris. Based on the tea ceremony kaiseki cuisine of Yuichiro Akiyoshi, who trained for 10 years at Hyotei in Kyoto, the menu emphasizes the natural flavors and seasonality of the ingredients. The traditional structure is interspersed with occasional innovative dishes, which is quite interesting. Particularly impressive was their specialty, the mackerel sushi roll! At the end of the course, there's a special touch: matcha tea is prepared for you in a small, tea-room-like space right in front of you. It was wonderful to experience not only the food, but also the tea ceremony kaiseki itself—a true expression of Japanese culture.

An unforgettable experience! We made a reservation for the tea ceremony, sat at the chef's counter, and had the omakase menu. Every course was delicious, and the tea selection was incredible. The team was extremely friendly. A true taste of Japan. I will definitely visit again next time I'm in Paris!
