I lived in Thailand for a year and a half, and I can say for sure that the most delicious Thai food is in this wonderful restaurant in Strasbourg.

First time at Chan Chira and we were very disappointed! We had a chicken curry with Cantonese rice and I think we paid for the location, 26€… The dishes are correct and plentiful but the price is not justified. The terrace is very pleasant, however, in the heart of Petite France. The service is not the most pleasant, we are made to feel that the location is touristy and that we must hurry to order and eat… We will not come back.

My first experience with Thai cuisine and here it was truly excellent. The lemon grass duck was simply delicious, and the salad, a real delight. A dining experience I highly recommend!

Really good authentic Thai food. Having been travelling a fair bit to south east Asia. The food here is very close to the real deal appart from the chillies in Asia dishes are lot more spicy. Lovely small place in the middle of “La petite France “ so it’s fairly touristy. A little on the pricey side though but then the area makes it more expensive. Service is really good too. Friendly and efficient.

Excellent Thai meal for four people. Busy, so glad we'd reserved a table earlier in the evening. Service was very good and food was excellent. Generous portions and the sharing platter was a great choice. Would definitely recommend.

This was our second visit to Chan Chira. We were in Strasbourg last year and had a great meal. We came back and were not disappointed. The food was very tasty. The service was impeccable. This place is right in Petite France, several touristry places on the same street. This is a must visit.

22/03/2024: A l'arrivée très bien accueillis par le serveur; à deux minutes près nous aurions même pu être installés en terrasse, mais c'est le jeu des lieux prisés, tant pis pour nous, tant mieux pour eux. Nous avons opté pour un bo bun au canard qui était savoureux. Petit bémol, il y a eu une erreur dans l'enregistrement de la commande donc nous avons attendu très longtemps. C'est le serveur qui s'en est rendu compte, ce qui est un bon point car cela prouve qu'il est attentif à sa salle. Il est immédiatement venu s'excuser et nous a promis de nous offrir le café, ce qu'il a fait. Niveau desserts, il y a beaucoup de choix avec des saveurs originales comme le cheesecake litchi. Les plats sont très copieux. C'est une très bonne adresse et le bo bun est fait dans les règles de l'art. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.
23/02/2024: Very good restaurant with generous and delicious dishes :) Special mention for the wine list which respects its Alsace region and which offers a generous list of Alsatian wines. This should be an example for all restaurants in the regional capital.
