Château de la Râpée sur Bazincourt-Sur-Epte

While traveling, I stumbled upon this place quite by chance. A charming, authentic spot where you immediately feel at ease.... The waitresses and Antoine do their best to make you feel welcome.... I highly recommend it.

Been meaning to leave a review of this place for a while. Myself and some friends stayed here in September. We all loved it and the building and rooms are spectacular and the breakfast knocked it out of the park. It felt like we were in a Wes Andersen move en France. The staff were lovely and it reminded us all of how much sacrifice these people give to provide their customers with a great service. There was a lady who checked us in, served our table and checked us out in the morning. She was delightful, elegant and also a little scary - a fabulous combination in my book. She apologised as there was a limited menu due to it being a particular day of the week however this menu was delicious and I would have chosen it any day of the week. Anyway it was all great and personal and wonderful. A credit. I also think everything was very well priced. I see others complaining in the reviews that no French people stay here. I did observe some French people and some people from elsewhere staying in the hotel however. Also I didn’t realise that not being from France meant I have no access to any critical faculties - what a shame for me, I am clearly so naive that I really enjoyed my stay 🤣

A romantic birthday lunch. The setting is beautiful and rustic. Michèle gave us a very warm welcome. Antoine is an outstanding waiter. The atmosphere is pleasant and family-friendly. Chef Philippe Bergeron and his team are very open to conversation and welcoming. The food is exquisite, featuring seasonal dishes. The menu is concise yet seasonal. A wide variety of drinks is also available.

An exceptional address, nestled in a verdant setting. The welcome was warm and refined, and the room was very romantic. As for the meal: a delight! Fresh, seasonal, and accompanied by the chef's expert advice, who clearly knows his ingredients. We will gladly return to this hotel!

A timeless and very well-preserved place. Obviously, in terms of soundproofing, it could be better, but that's due to the age of the building. The meal is brasserie-quality, and quite good. The staff is pleasant and helpful.

Last night, we had the pleasure of dining at the Château de la Rapée restaurant. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped by the charm of the place: an elegant building nestled in lush greenery, where refinement blends with the sweetness of life. The service was impeccable, warm without being intrusive, with attention paid to the smallest details. Each dish was a true work of art, as beautiful as it was delicious. Fresh produce prepared by the chef, bold and perfectly mastered combinations... a true taste journey! The peaceful and romantic setting added a magical touch to the evening. We felt privileged, as if we were outside of time, in a cocoon of serenity and indulgence. We thank the hostess Michelle and Dona for their welcome and table service, not to mention chef Philippe. We left with a light heart, satisfied taste buds, and a definite desire to return very soon.
