Château de la Râpée sur Bazincourt-Sur-Epte

The Château-Hôtel de la Rapée is a charming place to stay when visiting Gisors and exploring the Vexin region. We spent one night there and had dinner in the restaurant as a family with our 20-month-old baby. It was a very pleasant stop on our trip. The welcome was very warm, the rooms are very comfortable with excellent bedding, and the chef's cuisine was a delight. We highly recommend this place!

A truly beautiful establishment: + A magnificent castle, surrounded by nature and bordering a stud farm. Free on-site parking. Very kind and helpful staff. Excellent soundproofing: we returned late without disturbing anyone. Spacious room with an entrance vestibule and double doors. A wardrobe in the vestibule. The decor is distinctive but suits the setting. The bathroom is small but very well laid out, with everything you need. I particularly appreciated the faucet, which is both beautiful and functional. A tray with a kettle for making coffee or tea. Very comfortable bedding. Good blackout curtains. The breakfast items are very good, and having breakfast in the conservatory on a sunny day while watching the horses being trained is absolutely wonderful. - There is a constant noise of water circulating in the radiator: earplugs are recommended for those sensitive to noise. Breakfast: limited choice considering the price of €16, and I regret that there are no artisanal or local products...

We arrived at this house last week for one night and dinner. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the very pleasant owners. The room was magnificent, and the dinner was excellent. They are truly lovely people. We will return. Olivier, Nicole

While traveling, I stumbled upon this place quite by chance. A charming, authentic spot where you immediately feel at ease.... The waitresses and Antoine do their best to make you feel welcome.... I highly recommend it.

Been meaning to leave a review of this place for a while. Myself and some friends stayed here in September. We all loved it and the building and rooms are spectacular and the breakfast knocked it out of the park. It felt like we were in a Wes Andersen move en France. The staff were lovely and it reminded us all of how much sacrifice these people give to provide their customers with a great service. There was a lady who checked us in, served our table and checked us out in the morning. She was delightful, elegant and also a little scary - a fabulous combination in my book. She apologised as there was a limited menu due to it being a particular day of the week however this menu was delicious and I would have chosen it any day of the week. Anyway it was all great and personal and wonderful. A credit. I also think everything was very well priced. I see others complaining in the reviews that no French people stay here. I did observe some French people and some people from elsewhere staying in the hotel however. Also I didn’t realise that not being from France meant I have no access to any critical faculties - what a shame for me, I am clearly so naive that I really enjoyed my stay 🤣

A romantic birthday lunch. The setting is beautiful and rustic. Michèle gave us a very warm welcome. Antoine is an outstanding waiter. The atmosphere is pleasant and family-friendly. Chef Philippe Bergeron and his team are very open to conversation and welcoming. The food is exquisite, featuring seasonal dishes. The menu is concise yet seasonal. A wide variety of drinks is also available.

A palace hotel in the middle of the forest.

An exceptional address, nestled in a verdant setting. The welcome was warm and refined, and the room was very romantic. As for the meal: a delight! Fresh, seasonal, and accompanied by the chef's expert advice, who clearly knows his ingredients. We will gladly return to this hotel!
