The best food in Paris, by far! Super friendly service, a great mix of cultures. This is also reflected in the food! Fantastic!

This restaurant has been on my list for over a year, and it finally happened and honestly, it exceeded every expectation. I went for the 9courses menu, but it felt way more generous than just nine plates. The rhythm, the number of bites, the constant surprises. Every single dish was thoughtful, precise, and deeply flavorful. Not a single miss. Huge coup de cœur for the Saint Jacques nems with the celery dip, the pork and cabbage raviole, and the coquille de Saint Jacques served with an algae bao cant choose a fav! I also loved the fish course: the marriage of textures and flavors was beautiful. When you suddenly bite into a piece of chestnut with a touch of Buddha’s hand, it’s such a subtle but brilliant detail surprising, fragrant, and incredibly well thought out. Dessert wise, the lychee île flottante was light, fresh, and the perfect ending. Beyond the food, I really appreciated the atmosphere of the kitchen team: calm, organized, everyone focused on their craft even with a full house. You can feel the precision without any stress. Service was warm, kind, and genuinely attentive. A place that feels both exciting and comforting at the same time. Je reviendrai, c’est sûr.

Pacing can be off, quite off, which might suggest a la carte for the inventive and delicious dishes. The sensitive synthesis of the fusion of flavors is handled adroitly, with surprising ingredient substitutions and plays on traditional flavors.

Every dish feels thoughtful, vibrant, and deeply satisfying. The atmosphere is lively yet comfortable, and the service is attentive without being stiff. Everything comes together effortlessly, making the meal both exciting and memorable. A standout address that truly deserves its reputation and five stars.

We had a wonderful experience at Cheval d’Or in Paris. It’s a cozy, intimate restaurant offering Asian–French fusion cuisine, and we chose the 6-course menu. The service was extremely welcoming and accommodating — I had missed the email asking to confirm my bank details, yet they still managed to find us a table, which I truly appreciated. The whole atmosphere felt warm and thoughtful, and the experience was incredibly cohesive. It wasn’t just a sequence of dishes — it felt like a complete story. Each course complemented the next, everything was well-designed and refined down to the details. I especially appreciated that the food wasn’t “molecular” or experimental just for the sake of it; instead, it showed great respect for the ingredients, textures, flavors, and aromas. Some highlights for me were the foie gras (exceptionally delicate), the scallops, the corn and shiitake broth, and the apple mille-feuille. Everything else was also delicious. The only small surprise was the amuse-bouche: it was a broth that later appeared again in one of the courses. I didn’t expect that — though the broth itself was outstanding, and I would happily order it again. This didn’t affect my rating in any way. At the end, we were served a steak. In my opinion, it could have been slightly more tender, but the combination of flavors and the overall harmony of the dish were excellent. Overall, a truly memorable experience — highly recommended.

Greatest dining experience ever

We enjoyed the Cuivre menu and it was exceptional. We shared four appetizers, a main course, and a dessert, and left delighted and completely satisfied. The pure white wine was simply divine, and the service was discreet and efficient. We had a truly wonderful culinary experience, and the level of quality is close to that of a Michelin-starred restaurant. Bravo to the entire team!

One of a kind meal. We had the 5 course meal with amuses which was a great introduction to the French-Chinese cuisine. Friendly staff and a great sommelier!
