Cheval d'Or sur Paris

My new fav restaurant! Finding a gem within the wave of hotspots in Paris can be challenging. As someone who has tested most of the ‘farm to table’ restaurants, lots of trendy restaurants on the scene now all the same promise, but very few succeed in actually delivering something new and refreshing. Often they are trendy, well designed but the flavours are lacking, plates are costly yet you wonder why it’s always packed with the same people. But my experience at Cheval D’Or exceeded my expectations! We decided to lean in blindly with the carte blanche and didn’t even read the menu. Plus we let them recommend the wine and trusted the staff completely. Every stage had Innovative reinventions of asian classics, refined (and complex) flavours and cozy ambiance. I loved that all the dishes (and their presentations) were an experience in itself! Hats off to the reinvented pavlova with lychee ice. Innovative. Defo deserves a Michelin Star soon.

Very good restaurant, this is the second time I have dined there and the cuisine is truly delicious with a menu that changes every season. Good atmosphere, pleasant service.

The best Asian food in a stylish restaurant! A Japanese person also came and kindly explained the process. Reservations are required, but if you are alone, you may be able to walk in!

Exceptional Chinese and French fusion restaurant. Refined cuisine, with delicious flavors and textures. A delight. The only negative point, the clothes smell like food.

Great time last night, we tried the copper menu, a wonderful culinary journey and excellent value for money. The music is good, the place pleasant and well decorated, a delight on the plate and a beautiful ballet in the kitchen. Can't wait to go back.

Family dinner everything was good ☻

It's good, but not good enough to justify the exorbitant price. We could expect more refinement, the flavors are not incredible: small stuffed cabbages quite bland, nice ravioli but nothing more, three scallops not at their price level (36 euros anyway). As for the principle of "dishes to share", it's completely nonsense (we go from 3 to 5 mouthfuls depending on the starters, the dishes are not at all suitable either...). In the end, it gives the impression of eating lots of little things, which come together rather slowly and without any big taste surprises. Pleasant setting and welcome.

It was good, but not crazy. In fusion mode not completely digested. Impeccable service, sommelier far too relaxed, a little on the limit. Average value for money for the menu and wines but nice dinner.

One of the best value for money restaurants I've had in Paris. Very beautiful decoration, minimalist, very beige. A service of incredible attention and precision. The cuisine is rich, gourmet and sophisticated. The silver formula is perfect in terms of quality and quantity. Thanks to the chef and his team for the welcome. On the way to the star.

Everything was perfect, we really loved it. Great service, innovative and tasty dishes, great wine list. To try and try again. We did the Copper menu and found the quantity of food to be very generous. Very excited to come back!
