Having organized my wife's birthday celebration this weekend at Ernest in Montauban, I want to sincerely thank the entire team for this exceptional experience.
This restaurant is simply incredible: the subtlety of the flavors, the quality of the ingredients, the generous portions… everything was perfectly executed. The attentive and professional service was impeccable from beginning to end.
Congratulations to the whole team for your warm welcome and your attentiveness to our 23 guests; each one was pampered with great care and elegance.

There were five of us; I think I speak for everyone when I say the food was delicious, meticulously presented, served with good cheer, and all in a warm, welcoming, and tastefully decorated setting! ✨😻
I had the pan-seared foie gras and the pink-roasted duck breast; it had been a very long time since I'd had dishes worthy of their menu; thank you to the entire kitchen and service team! 👏

I had the pleasure of discovering Chez Ernest restaurant for the first time on January 10, 2026. A truly wonderful discovery! From the welcome to the payment, absolutely nothing to complain about. Despite the crowd, taking our order and sending out our appetizers, main courses, and desserts was quite quick. The portions were very generous and delicious. I had the ribeye steak with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables, and for dessert, the crème brûlée. I highly recommend it! Excellent value for money.

Passing through Montauban at the end of November, we were looking for some good meat and we were more than satisfied! The wood-fired grill was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. The desserts were also very good, and the service was excellent. Don't hesitate to go if they have a table (reservations are recommended). A wonderful evening for two; we'll definitely be back!
