Regarding the food, no complaints: the quality of the ingredients is evident on the plate 👍 However, we were quite surprised by the bill… For a table averaging €50 per person, charging an extra €30 for three after-dinner drinks seemed particularly excessive… Especially for a restaurant that claims to be “no-frills.” Not to mention the owner's comment about the cheese platter, which is supposed to be self-service, deeming it “too full.” It seems it was actually intended for “one and a half people,” rather than one. In that case, perhaps they should have just served it directly to the table. A rather surprising remark, to say the least, and not really in keeping with the convivial atmosphere we had experienced here. I should add that the price listed on the menu was €13, but ultimately charged at €15 per plate on the final bill. It's a real shame because we remembered it as a warm and welcoming restaurant. We get the impression that the customer is considered more as a wallet than as a customer we want to have a good time with.

A very pleasant restaurant. The ribeye steak was delicious, as was the foie gras appetizer. The owner is very friendly. I would gladly return.

This was my first time back at this restaurant since the change of ownership. I found the chef to be very friendly and taking the time to chat with customers at the end of service in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Add to that a very friendly and smiling waitress, and the meal became a truly pleasant and convivial experience. As for the food, we thoroughly enjoyed everything from the appetizer to the digestif recommended by the chef. The beautiful piece of meat was incredible and cooked over a wood fire. A simple, unpretentious, and generous restaurant—a rare find these days. I highly recommend it.

I'd been wanting to come for ages, and I wasn't disappointed. A late reservation on Friday evening, a very warm welcome, attentive service, perfectly executed wood-fired cooking, and a delicious homemade dessert. And what can I say about the wine cellar, where you can choose from some truly excellent bottles at unbeatable wine shop prices, served at your table with just a €10 corkage fee. A must-try, and definitely worth repeating.

The service was friendly, but the presentation wasn't great, the side dishes weren't very generous, and the price-quality ratio could be better. My comments are purely objective, not meant to be malicious. It's a shame because the terrace is nice.

A true delight! Excellent quality products and friendly cuisine, a family atmosphere. Having the wine cellar next door is a real bonus; being able to get up and choose your bottle from the cellar is something I don't see everywhere. I even left with a second bottle, as they also run a wine shop. If you want to share a pleasant moment in an authentic atmosphere, this is the restaurant to go to.

A restaurant we highly recommend. When you walk in, you're pleasantly surprised... no frills or unnecessary frills, just a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, yet a high-quality meal. Everything is incredibly fresh, the chef cooks right in front of you, the staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the wine was the highlight of the evening: an extraordinary wine cellar where you can choose your own wine, with advice from the waiter-sommelier if needed. Even though it's a bit far from home, we'll definitely be back.
