We came as a group of four and what a welcome! So hospitable and professional! The dishes were DELICIOUS! Beautifully presented with high-quality ingredients… for €28 per person, we enjoyed a hake fillet with baby vegetables, a pavlova with fresh fruit… and a delicious amuse-bouche, all with a glass of wine included in the €28! The setting on the terrace is fantastic 🤩. Service and quality right down to the coffee ☕️!! You won't be disappointed by the entire team! 👍

The welcome was friendly. But the food and service were a bit lacking. The foie gras was served straight from the fridge, and the verrines of petits fours were served with a wooden spoon. Not all the dishes seemed homemade (at least the side dishes). As a result, the value for money was disappointing.

The food is excellent, with a beautiful view of the small port of Cassis. A warm welcome, great service, and a lovely atmosphere are guaranteed.

Chez Gilbert in Cassis is a must-visit. The setting is magnificent, the servers are very knowledgeable and friendly, and the food is homemade. The fish soup is delicious; I highly recommend it. Special mention also goes to the sea bass, cooked to perfection. A truly wonderful experience; I recommend it without hesitation.

We had a wonderful evening last night. It was perfect. Our dishes were excellent, from the bouillabaisse (very generous portion) to the lobster pasta… we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The service was professional and friendly. We would gladly return.

04/04/2026: We had a great time. Fish of the day: John Dory with mixed vegetables. Veggie burger. Quality cuisine and fresh ingredients. Pleasant and efficient service.
02/04/2026: Walking next to the port, we saw bistro’quai and their plates looked delicious.. so we went in and tried their poke bowl and the burrata red sauce pasta. They were delicious.. The service was great. You can eat with a view to the port. Recommended!
