Chez Gilbert sur Cassis

I particularly love this restaurant on the port of Cassis! The cuisine is refined, the ingredients are fresh and perfectly prepared, with a magnificent view of the port that makes the experience even more enjoyable. Special mention goes to the warm welcome and attentive service: the entire team is smiling, professional, and incredibly caring. A must-try in Cassis, which I recommend without hesitation!

The best fish restaurant in Cassis!!! We've been back several times and every time it's perfect! The service is impeccable (thank you to Carla and her dad), the fish is delicious!!! We always receive great advice and we keep coming back with pleasure!!!

What can I say except EXCELLENT? It was a sensational meal, high-quality ingredients, unique flavors—it was truly delicious, and I mean it. Special mention for the crêpes Suzette, which were simply incredible.

A lovely restaurant right on the harbor. The service was very friendly and attentive, but communication was a bit difficult because our waiter unfortunately spoke very little English. I found the food very disappointing. The Caesar salad was unfortunately very bland, and the dressing had nothing to do with Caesar dressing. It was quite tasteless and slightly acidic. The fries were completely tasteless and apparently unsalted, and even adding salt didn't help. The burger was okay, but also rather bland. The mussels were the only truly good dish at the table, but they smelled very strongly of fish, which isn't a good sign. On the positive side, the prices and opening hours are excellent compared to other restaurants here at the harbor.

Very nice restaurant with an incredible view of the port in Cassis. The mussels Provencal - were fresh and wonderfully prepared. The service is attentive, and the atmosphere - perfect for a dinner by the sea.

We went back to Gilbert's last night to enjoy the bouillabaisse, and for us, it's clearly one of the best on the coast. The service is pleasant and attentive, and the soup and rouille are simply excellent. They generously offered us several refills of soup, which is always appreciated. For those with a sweet tooth, the crêpe Suzette for dessert is a real treat. The rest of the menu, intentionally short, inspires confidence: everything looks tempting and seems perfectly executed. Special mention goes to the magnificent view of the port from the terrace, which makes the experience even more memorable. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

Excellent restaurant on the port of Cassis. Great children's menu. (Note: no high chair available.) The food is impeccable, and the setting—the port of Cassis—is simply delightful. I highly recommend this restaurant.
