Chez Hibou sur Bordeaux

A warm welcome and authentic cuisine. The dishes are generous, flavorful, and prepared with care. Excellent value for money. The restaurant is also air-conditioned, which is very welcome during the heatwave. An address that perfectly reflects the spirit of a true Chinese restaurant.

An exceptional place! Everything was absolutely delicious, from the presentation of the dishes to the flavors. Each plate was a true delight for the eyes and the taste buds. We left with only one desire: to return! It's such a shame we don't live in Bordeaux, otherwise we would come very often. The owner is also wonderful: warm, attentive, and exceptionally kind. Thank you for this magnificent experience; we wholeheartedly recommend this place!

The setting is truly beautiful and chic, with plenty of space. We thoroughly enjoyed the food; the homemade boiled dumplings were excellent. The mapo tofu dish was delicious and suitable for vegetarians; I would have just added a minced meat option, but otherwise, it was very flavorful! The portions were generous, and the waitresses and managers were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

The black pepper beef is very good, the service is fast and the team is absolutely lovely!

We ate at Chez Hibou last Thursday, April 30th, 2026, during a long weekend of sightseeing in Bordeaux, and we had a truly excellent meal. The dishes were superb, and the meat was top quality: we thoroughly enjoyed trying the various ravioli, the spring galettes, and the lacquered pork with pineapple. The staff was very welcoming, and we got along very well. We had a wonderful time and even tried the cocktails, which were definitely worth it (tea cocktail, plum brandy). We all highly recommend it!
