Chez HL sur Paris

30/03/2024: My new fav restaurant! Finding a gem within the wave of hotspots in Paris can be challenging. As someone who has tested most of the ‘farm to table’ restaurants, lots of trendy restaurants on the scene now all the same promise, but very few succeed in actually delivering something new and refreshing. Often they are trendy, well designed but the flavours are lacking, plates are costly yet you wonder why it’s always packed with the same people. But my experience at Cheval D’Or exceeded my expectations! We decided to lean in blindly with the carte blanche and didn’t even read the menu. Plus we let them recommend the wine and trusted the staff completely. Every stage had Innovative reinventions of asian classics, refined (and complex) flavours and cozy ambiance. I loved that all the dishes (and their presentations) were an experience in itself! Hats off to the reinvented pavlova with lychee ice. Innovative. Defo deserves a Michelin Star soon.

19/03/2024: Very good restaurant, this is the second time I have dined there and the cuisine is truly delicious with a menu that changes every season. Good atmosphere, pleasant service.
