The location is perfect, you have everything you need around you and the metro is in front. But the Hotel as such.... Ehhhhhh No, very dirty, the bed smelled bad. I recommend that when you arrive at this hotel, you shake out your sheets and the duvet or blanket, because you don't know what things we find... Shake everything, open the windows so that you can "try" to air out the bad smell from the mattress. The bed is also very uncomfortable... The Hotel smells very ugly, so you should think about it. But the location and everything else was good.

The place was very nice, honest given the price and the location was also excellent because it was literally above the subway. However, the service was terrible, they never changed our towels even though they promised to do so every morning and what's more we also had a mix-up with the luggage storage... last piece of advice: don't have breakfast there! There's an excellent boulangerie just around the corner...

This was in no way, a 5 star hotel, it was small and carrying my bags up to the 3rd floor via a semi-circular staircase, was kind of a pain, but this place just had charm and a distinctive Parisian feel to it. The man at the front desk was exceedingly helpful and friendly. The rooms were small, but very nice and clean. My window opened up on to a main street so I could just absorb the hustle and bustle of the street below. The breakfast was a little on the lean side, with not a lot of options, but it was OK, and an exceptable trade off for the affordable price of the room. I gave it a 5 star, because sometimes, it's the service and atmosphere that counts the most. You might not remember the fancy 5 star that you stayed in last year, but you will remember this place. If your in the market for a 5 star with all the amenities, then go elsewhere, if you want a small, affordable & cute, distinctive Parisian feel hotel, then this is your place. There is no elevator, so not a good fit if you if this is an issue, if not, I would totally recommend it.

Very good value for money hotel, super good breakfast! Comfortable bed and cocooning bedroom with private bathroom, does the trick for a night or two! The only downside was that the TV was not functional…
