Food: Ordered the salmon, and the frites were homemade and tasty. Service: Friendly and good. Food range: Would recommend because of many meat options but would not recommend for vegans or vegetarians. Outside area is very beautiful.

A meal with friends: gravlax salmon, cat's tongue (a very rare cut of beef) with homemade fries, and apricot tart. Honestly, I'd do it again. It's fantastic!!! And the owner has the kind of personality we love.

Top-notch bistro 👍 Super friendly welcome Excellent market cuisine Great value for money 👌 Tip: go for lunch, the set menu is fantastic 👍 and inexpensive, and the à la carte dishes, especially the pan-fried sweetbreads, are to die for!

If you're ever in Rouen, you absolutely must eat at L'gros; the quality/price ratio is excellent. It's a must-try! And besides, L'gros is quite a character 🤣

A wonderful welcome...the quality of the products was superb...I recommend the sweetbreads...a gastronomic dish...tastefully and visually, a dish worthy of a Michelin star, it's almost perfect. Thank you. Wilfried Lemesle.

05/08/2026: We left the fine arts museum to grab a beer and had a small brunch. Everything was very acceptable for the price.
07/06/2026: Very fun place and the staff is friendly and makes you feel at home. Good cider and galettes. Unfortunately no vegetarian food so you have to order something with meat and have it omitted.
