Chez Mai sur Grenoble

I was looking for authentic Vietnamese cuisine and I was served, with great kindness to boot. I found the same flavors I usually enjoy in Vietnam. The prices are unbeatable, yet the quality is just as good. The gentleman who runs the restaurant single-handedly does his best to ensure fast service, always with a smile and in a cheerful mood. Go there without delay!

The food was quite delicious, nothing to complain about, authentically Vietnamese, and the service was friendly. I'll definitely visit again if I have the chance. La nourriture était délicieuse, rien à redire, authentiquement vietnamienne, et le service était chaleureux. J'y retournerai sans hésiter si j'en ai l'occasion.

I came with my mom and we loved it! The food is delicious and homemade. The service was incredible, thank you. My mom wanted to find a dessert from her childhood that was no longer on the menu, but the gentleman took the time to make it even though he was alone in the restaurant! Thank you, we were very touched and it was delicious! We'll be back!!!

A very welcoming place, lush with greenery (live plants), and offering a change of scenery (cool Vietnamese music playing in the background, antique Asian chairs inlaid with mother-of-pearl: phoenix and dragon designs), an aquarium with small fish, decorated with paintings of rural life in Asia (pleasant for someone who can't travel!). Eating there is a true pleasure for the senses. It's also a sharing of the heart, as the chef and all-around handyman shares flavors that aren't easily found in Europe... when it's not his own home! I highly recommend this experience... as you'll have gathered, it's not just a sensory journey, but also a warm and simple one.

Very welcoming. Ideal for a family during the holidays. I will come back often.
