Chez Mamane has moved to Rue de l'Espérance! The current name is L'Espérance. I highly recommend it! Great atmosphere! Best couscous on the South Shore!!!!

It's delicious. The menu features couscous prepared in the North African style. The portions are enormous. You either come hungry or you share. Wonderful!

The atmosphere is warm and the welcome very pleasant; it's worth the short wait while they chat with you and serve you a drink. The dishes are good and perfect for sharing.

We were recommended it by a Frenchman who guaranteed it was the best couscous in Paris. We went to check it out and now I'm sure, this is definitely the best couscous in Paris. The atmosphere is simple, very homey and cozy, frequented by locals. The place is calm, without the rush of tourist routes. The food is truly sensational. I recommend it and can't wait to go back.
