Very friendly service, super cozy atmosphere, and the most delicious Indonesian food. The soup as a starter is highly recommended. For the main course, we all had something different, but it was all equally tasty.

Excellent and authentic Indian cuisine, have visited this restaurant many times and each time the quality and service is consistently great. The food is delightful, tasty and nicely spiced, the onion bhaja are exceptional, wide selection of curries which are all with good flavour. The service is as expected, attentive, polite and professional, but also relaxed and friendly. Overall, this is a good choice and also the setting is lovely, dining outside in the calm courtyard outside or inside in the medieval interior. Updated June 2026 My recent visit was very disappointing, having eaten here many many times over the years. Just no flavour in the curry, made worse because the curry was more like a soup, very watery, no cream or thickener. The portion size was excellent as were the accompaniments and the location is superb (whether inside or in the courtyard). I suspect the usual chef was away perhaps as it also took about 45m for the main to be served even though the venue only had 2-3 other tables in use on a mid week lunchtime and service is usually much quicker than this. I will be returning as one bad meal does not mean the restaurant is to be avoided, indeed, I think this was a one off and will need to revisit to confirm that this was an unfortunate event.

What an incredible location for this Indian restaurant right in the heart of Périgueux, on a small square! Generous and high-quality dishes. Set menus at €28. The lamb is melt-in-your-mouth tender, whether in Tikka Masala or Tandoori style. Go for it and enjoy!

The place is unique and full of charm. Nestled in a beautiful shaded courtyard, it offers a warm and inviting atmosphere. The service is excellent, attentive, and delightful. The food is delicious and offers a wide selection. As for the desserts, they are as exotic as they are tasty and a truly wonderful discovery. An address I wholeheartedly recommend!

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely meal. They were very helpful and more than accommodating for my dietary needs and were quick to modify a dish to be vegan for me. I couldn’t recommend them enough. Wonderful service, pleasant atmosphere and amazing food.

An Indian restaurant with a lovely outdoor area in an old square in Périgueux. The service was friendly and quick, and the menu offered a good selection of traditional dishes. We returned for another dinner.
