Chez Marius sur Gemenos

We had a wonderful time at Marius's. The welcome was fantastic, and the pizzas were excellent. The waitstaff were incredibly attentive (special mention to Sandrine).

We ordered two pizzas for €10 each and received a very warm welcome in this wonderful restaurant. The staff were very friendly, and the setting was beautiful. We will definitely return. The pizzas were absolutely delicious, and the prices are very reasonable compared to other major cities nearby. We can't wait to go back.

A wonderful discovery… we weren't expecting such a lovely setting for a roadside restaurant that looked pleasant but small from the outside. What a delightful surprise to discover the ambiance and decor inside! The pizzas and desserts are delicious. And the best part is the staff… A huge thank you to Chris, the waiter who looked after our table, for his kindness and humor, which transformed our experience from "great" to "exceptional." Sometimes it only takes a little to make a difference. The other servers seemed just as attentive. As you might have guessed, I highly recommend this restaurant! 🌸🤩

Family lunch today on the terrace, shaded by parasols and cooled by misting fans. Excellent food, beautifully prepared and very generous portions, friendly service. I recommend the shrimp fritters as an appetizer and I thoroughly enjoyed the slow-braised lamb shank.

We had a lovely meal with our grandchildren; it was very good and plentiful. The only slight downside was the very slow service, but that can happen. We'll definitely go back because we enjoyed our meal and didn't want to leave with a bad impression.

We ordered two rib-eye steaks which were extremely tough (€39 each). The other two dishes were decent. The dessert was acceptable. The restaurant didn't exactly thrill us.

At the restaurant as a family, we all ordered different dishes. 👉🏼 I chose the linguine with parmesan sauce and truffle-infused ham. It was delicious. The portion was so generous that I asked for a doggy bag. For dessert, I chose the French toast-style brioche with Nutella, whipped cream, and a scoop of coconut ice cream. While I was won over by the main course, the dessert left me completely unimpressed. The French toast was simply a lukewarm, dry brioche. 👉🏼 My sister chose a dish of flatbread with squid. The sauce was very bland and bitter (I tasted her dish), and there was only one stuffed squid. The dish would have benefited from a more pronounced fish flavor, and the same goes for the squid. Her dessert (a revisited tarte tatin) was rancid. Overall, her experience was not positive. 👉🏼 My parents ordered pizzas. They were really good: the toppings were generous and the crust was soft. 🤝 The servers were all pleasant and smiling. The service was impeccable. And the place is very nice: the terrace is lovely, the tables are well spaced, and the misting system was much appreciated during this heatwave.

Great restaurant. Very warm welcome, excellent Provençal cuisine, pleasant atmosphere. Wonderful evening under the trees. We'll definitely be back.

Passing through the area, we stayed near this place. We had a table for eight with children and friends in the evening. The welcome was friendly, professional, and relaxed. The setting was very pleasant and clean. The meal was excellent, the service attentive and smiling. The food was delicious and plentiful. A true restaurant that respects its customers and where you can feel the culinary expertise and professionalism. Highly recommended! Bravo and thank you to the entire team and the managers for this wonderful experience.
