After ordering two bouillabaisses and one bourride, I was unpleasantly surprised to be billed for two bouillabaisses and two bourrides, claiming that bourrides are sold in pairs. Why not mention this when ordering?! While the bouillabaisse is good, the bourride is bland and leaves a bitter aftertaste. The server was very informal, even bordering on being annoying.

What a pleasure to taste a bouillabaisse made with such love and generosity. It's an institution that you can't leave Le Lavandou without stopping by. The owner is 85 years old and runs this establishment with a master hand. For all fish lovers, head there with your eyes closed.

What a pleasure and delight this authentic bouillabaisse is, prepared and served with talent and dexterity. The flavors of the fish in the broth are matched only by the warm welcome from the staff. I loved it, I highly recommend it 🥰

Surely the best restaurant for bouillabaisse! Owner Raymond shows you around his kitchen, where he cooks the dish over a wood fire in pots that have aged over time.

At Raymond's, always at the top... For true connoisseurs of bouillabaisse... not for Parisians... a real bouillabaisse... it's in the broth, not the soup... thanks again...

Big disappointment for this exceptional dish, Bouillabaisse. The rust, a taste of tomato, no aromas, then the soup too liquid and above all tasteless. The fish dish was magnificent, well cooked and delicious fish, shame there were no cuttlefish or mussels. The service was perfect. We will not say the same thing about Mr. Raymond who made his tour of the room, stopping mainly at the tables of regulars. The place is charming, pleasant setting but discotheque 10 m away, in the evening prepare your earplugs. In summary, I expected to taste a good bouillabaisse, a disappointment

17/06/2025: The Relais du Vieux Sauvaire is an extraordinary venue where we celebrated our wedding in June 2025. From start to finish, we received a warm welcome and were wonderfully guided through our preparations. Nicolas is very professional and straightforward, and we quickly felt at ease. On top of that, he's very personable and didn't hesitate to go the extra mile for us, even on the big day, even though it hadn't been planned! Our guests were delighted with the cleanliness of the venue, the rooms, and the support they received, not to mention the breathtaking view. If we had to do it all over again, we wouldn't change a thing. Thanks again to Nicolas, Chloé, and Juliette; everything was perfect!
23/05/2025: We celebrated our wedding at the Relais du Vieux Sauvaire, and the venue far exceeded all our expectations. We spent the entire weekend surrounded by our loved ones, in a magical setting. The cottages are magnificent, comfortable, and very well-equipped—perfect for welcoming family and friends in the best possible conditions. The view is breathtaking, the place is full of charm, and the atmosphere is both warm and peaceful. We fell in love with it from the very first visit. A big thank you to Nicolas, always available, attentive, and very accommodating. He answered all our questions and guided us with great kindness and professionalism. A place we recommend without hesitation for a wedding or any other unforgettable event!
