We didn't particularly enjoy the food, which was very salty and not very tasty.
The service was adequate and the atmosphere was as expected.

A bit disappointing considering it's a Capbreton institution, a tradition! We've been coming here for 50 years… Disappointed because the mussels were tiny, which is a shame for a specialist in grilled mussels. The taste has also changed, but it's still good. Perhaps they've changed suppliers, but what about the customer? Thanks to Laura for her service and her smile; it was very pleasant to be served.

Excellent mussels, perfectly seasoned with a wonderfully fragrant homemade sauce. The fries were crispy, and I thoroughly enjoyed my Basque cake, with its incredibly smooth cream.
The waitresses were energetic and always smiling.
The atmosphere was lively, but that didn't matter; you could easily focus on your food. The large tables added a convivial touch to the meal.
We highly recommend it.

An unusual restaurant where you shouldn't be afraid to get your hands dirty. Unfortunately, the wait was long and the mussels were swimming in curry—far too much sauce for our liking. The service was very good. Overall, a good experience, but we won't be back.

We loved discovering this restaurant. The concept of sharing dishes, signing up for the list, and enjoying the bar while you wait... The mussels with their curry sauce were delicious. As were all the other dishes we tried.

The mussels are excellent and I highly recommend them. We come regularly and never tire of their mussels and fries – they're simply exceptional. You can even order salad instead of fries. I also recommend arriving early, around 7 pm, to avoid the rush hour when the restaurant is packed and there will be a much longer wait. Plus, it's a fantastic experience for children: the Pirate Island (funfair) is right next door.

Nice little restaurant, reasonable prices. The grilled mussels are small but tasty, the sauce is really flavorful, it's a shame there isn't more to dip the fries in. The baby squid, on the other hand, were bland, even though the sauce was good. However, the prawns are excellent. The only major drawback is the clear lack of staff; reservations aren't possible, you sign up on a list and wait your turn, an hour and a half at the bar and then another hour at your table. Our wine order even got lost in transit. That said, the staff remains friendly and welcoming despite everything.
