The owner is welcoming, and the couscous is good quality and plentiful. The only downside was the waitress, who was completely unprofessional. She helped herself to food during service and sat down at the table in front of mine with her back turned. I politely pointed this out, but she responded even more rudely, telling me she could sit wherever she wanted. Her lack of manners was unbearable. This place deserves much better.

Family atmosphere. Lots of regulars. Professional service! Simple, perfect menu. Excellent cuisine. Special mention for the exceptional dining room, perfectly preserved in its original style. Incredible ceiling height, an old-fashioned bar, enormous wall mirrors, and wooden and beveled glass partitions like they don't make anymore.

This is now my third time visiting Chez Omar , and I can confidently say it is one of the best restaurants in Paris. In my opinion, it offers an excellent balance of price and quality, and the overall atmosphere is very enjoyable. The restaurant itself is beautiful and located in a great area of the city. The food is consistently fresh, and every dish I have tried has been outstanding, with generous portions. I highly recommend ordering the couscous to share between two people—it is more than sufficient. I would also suggest trying the meat skewers (although I do not recall their exact name in French), which were truly exceptional. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant if you are in Paris.

We stumbled upon this restaurant quite by chance, but we thoroughly enjoyed our visit! The welcome was incredibly warm and the staff very friendly. The service was quick and the couscous was delicious. A very pleasant surprise!

08/05/2026: Lovely Italian restaurant. The food is fantastic. The waiters are friendly, but you have to look for them. We would have liked to have another drink, but no one came to our table. (And the restaurant was almost empty). The owner needs to train his staff better.
28/04/2026: Came across this restaurant while looking for somewhere to have lunch, we wanted somewhere where we could sit outside, although they didnt have outside seating, they did have an open front restaurant and we managed to get a seat right at the front. The staff were really friendly, the service was quick, it had a lovely atmosphere. The food........I was so excited when I saw they had linguini al tartufo - truffle pasta! It tasted amazing and the portion size was spot on! Would definitely recommend this restaurant!
