The presentation is a mixed bag. A discovery and a disappointment. The owner is unfriendly and certainly nothing like the photos on the walls. A half-liter of San Pellegrino served lukewarm in a plastic bottle for €7. (An absolute record!) They restock directly, unpacking the groceries just like at home. The employee acts as a shop assistant and rushes down to the basement kitchen to make our pizzas. The toilets are near the open kitchen, and there's no toilet paper. A complete amateur operation where a certain burly, bearded guy could have a few things to say...

Small Italian restaurant. We regularly dine at Paolo's. We are always warmly welcomed. The setting is beautiful, and the food is excellent. The cuisine is typically Italian and well-prepared. Paolo is incredibly kind and very attentive to his customers. It's very clean. I highly recommend this place. I'll be returning next month with great pleasure.
