Chez Papa sur Paris

Not a great experience. Overpriced food & very small portions. Problem with sediment in red wine which is unforgivable for the price. Overhyped in my opinion.

Great lunch at Chez Fernand Christine!!! Authentic French food. Veal kidneys were delicious as well as the traditional Beef Bourguignon.

My favorite restaurant of our trip to Paris!!! We learned about Chez Fernand from the Les Frenchies videos. It was their number one pick for the best beef bourguignon. It was absolutely delicious!! We loved everything about this restaurant. The atmosphere was wonderful, our server was amazing, and the food was delicious! Highly recommend!!!

It may be a tourist trap but it was DELICIOUS! Service was fast and attentive, vibes were lovely. Highly recommended!

Meh… the ravioli in fois gras sauce didn’t live up to expectations… Same with their “famous” boeuf bourguignon…. Lacked complexity and depth in flavor. Plastic tablecloths say it all. BUT the rum baba was good, though they could have been more generous with their cream…

We tried the signature dish, which was nice, as well as the steak, which was okay but not extraordinary. We were crammed into such a tight space with no air conditioning and no cross breeze on a really hot day. We didn't stay for dessert as we were overheating.

I was at a restaurant for lunch today. We had a reservation for 7 p.m. when we approached the restaurant the waitresses were smoking cigarettes. We were there a few minutes before opening. It didn't really encourage people to eat. The tables were next to each other and the passage between them was very narrow. Every time someone from the staff walked through the middle between the tables they would nudge my chair. I understand that it's narrow but in such conditions you can't have a nice time eating. The place is stuffy - no air conditioning. The staff needs training.

Worth going out of your way to eat here. Booth seating was very tight to the table next to you. Very lively atmosphere and fantastic food.

Was recommended to us. Did not disappoint. We liked it so much we made a second reservation during our stay in Paris.
