hidden gem! This cozy, family-run spot makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. I tried the Escalope de Canard Montagnarde and the Cassoulet,both were absolutely delicious and authentic. You can really taste the heart put into the cooking. If you're looking for a warm atmosphere and incredible French Southwestern cuisine, this is the place!

Thirty years after first visiting the Louis Blanc metro station, I thank the Olympic Games and their rerouting for allowing me to rediscover "Chez Papa" (the one and only, the real deal, the authentic one). A restaurant just the way I like them: a warm welcome, homemade food, a place steeped in history and photos…no frills, much to the chagrin of some! Thank you, and a kiss to the real Papa!
