After a rather mediocre restaurant experience a year ago during our first visit to Pézenas, we were determined this year to discover a more welcoming place, and if possible, one that wasn't too touristy. Having parked somewhat randomly in the Voltaire parking lot, we passed the terrace of Chez Paul restaurant on our way to the town center. And very quickly… we could easily picture ourselves there. An hour and a half later, we did… it was indeed time to relax in the shade. A very friendly welcome… A menu with plenty of options, but especially for lunch, a set menu of platters… for €22. Starter, main course, cheese, and dessert, all served at the same time. Three choices, including a vegetarian option… a great idea! Add to that some excellent cocktails beforehand, and then a white wine that doesn't disappoint… well, one thing is certain: our next visit to Pézenas will definitely be to Chez Paul!
