Chez Philippe sur Ranspach

Hello We made a quick stop at Philippe's today, and let's just say we don't plan on returning. While the welcome from a young man was quite pleasant, an older waitress became rather unpleasant after we asked two questions. The first was: what does "IRL" mean next to "steak haché" (minced steak), and the second was about the possibility of removing the tomato from the burger due to an allergy. Her response was somewhat aggressive. Although it was extremely busy, I think a minimum of courtesy and politeness is necessary. As for the food, we ordered a warm goat cheese salad, which was swimming in sauce (tasting of water, not vinaigrette) with an excessive amount of garlic. The only positive point was the warm goat cheese toast (but it was cold...). The dessert was good nonetheless... but it didn't redeem the meal.

A very warm welcome! We arrived unexpectedly. I enjoyed a delicious Grimbergen beer there, which I unfortunately couldn't find in stores. After a long drive... this little stop on the terrace was much appreciated! Thank you!
