Beautiful location, great service and atmosphere. Regarding the food, simply spectacular, high level with very original mixtures of flavors. One of the most special places I have ever been to.

Excellent surprise. Exceptional site. Relaxed atmosphere (while being well behaved). Refined cuisine that reveals subtle flavors while respecting the savory taste and quality of the base product. Without forgetting the perfect cooking whether for fish or meat. ! In short, I want to go back!

We were lucky enough to discover this exceptional place. Nature is everywhere, the charming house is very warm with its 200 years of history. A meeting with passionate, intelligent, funny, sparkling people. The cuisine is sublime, the natural wine list is perfect. What more can I say, don't change anything. Very nice place, very cool, excellent lobster but the new Surprise Menu formula doesn't really appeal to me. I like to have at least a choice of 2 starters or 2 desserts. That day, peach dessert on rose jelly... I find that rose in cooking is too special to pass up the choice. Damage. Because some starters are very interesting in terms of flavors. So I'm hesitant to come back for the moment.

Great and surprising! It feels like being in the middle of nowhere and finding such a fantastic restaurant: a gift! Beautiful view, great service, very atmospheric and delicious food. By the way, we had 5 courses for €75 (not 7 as in reviews below 🤨).

Unique restaurant on the sea. There are only 2 menus, the lobster menu or the suprise menu. The whole table has to have the same menu. We went for the lobster and it was perfectly cooked and flambé with local calvados at the table. The staff were very knowledgeable and informative. A special lunch for a special birthday. I would definitely go back.

Has to be one of our best ever restaurant experiences. The 5 course menu is a surprise. Means you only find out what the next course is when it arrives at the table. Not one dud. I had a different glass of wine with each course. It would be worth going back to Normandy just to go to Chez Roger again. The funny thing is that the outside of the restaurant gives you no clue as to how good it is inside.

Unique oceanfront restaurant located about halfway between Utah Beach and Omaha Beach. There is no beer, but all the better food and excellent wine at fair prices. We had the seafood surprise menu and loved it. We were there over lunch and without a reservation, which is probably only possible during the week. The detour was definitely worth it, also because of the friendly and very professional service.

A great experience, a great evening. The concept is a 7-course dinner menu. You don't know what you're going to eat. You will be asked in advance if you have any allergies or if you do not like something. The courses are small, beautifully prepared dishes of fish or meat purchased that day. No day is the same. They have a very extensive wine list and wine knowledge. We were advised which wine we wanted beforehand and with the meal. This one was really delicious. We started the evening on the terrace. Seating areas, picnic table and lounge sofa on the roof of a bunker, all overlooking the beach and sea. We went inside for dinner. Cozy living room with real candlelight as the only lighting for a cozy intimate atmosphere. Each course was a true explosion of taste. Well prepared, beautifully presented and excellent in taste. The service was good, friendly and professional. This is truly a place for a special evening, an experience you must have. A menu for 75 euros per person may seem like a lot, but it is more than worth it. We had a great evening.
