Everything was exceptional. We had caramel chicken, beef with vegetables, and gyoza. What a treat! Generous portions, average prices. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean place. I would gladly go back. I recommend it!

The food was indeed delicious. Our group of two adults and one child ordered two servings of Peking duck (which the child loved), one steamed sea bass, one serving of beef with onions, one serving of pineapple and shrimp fried rice, and a Tsingtao beer. Except for the pineapple and shrimp fried rice, which was relatively ordinary, the other dishes were quite good, especially the Peking duck and steamed fish. Overall, the food quality deserves recognition. I give the food 5 stars; service and atmosphere 3 stars each. Service 🌟🌟🌟. Perhaps I'm being overly sensitive, but throughout the meal, I felt that the front of house's enthusiasm and attentiveness varied depending on the guests. The service we received was polite and necessary, but rather functional, lacking the hospitality that makes guests feel valued and welcomed. For example, we had to ask for water twice before it arrived, and after we finished, they didn't proactively ask if we wanted more. Instead, they asked us twice if we wanted dessert. These are all minor details, not worth fussing over individually, but the restaurant service experience often stems from these very details. Especially when you can observe a noticeable difference in the warmth and attentiveness of the service between different tables, that disparity becomes palpable. Therefore, I give the service 3 stars: the service itself wasn't seriously problematic, just lacking a bit of consistency and a genuine feeling of being welcomed and valued. As for the ambiance, the restaurant itself wasn't bad; unlike restaurants in Vancouver or Paris, the tables are very close together. However, we were seated by the window, and a fly kept buzzing around our plates during the meal, which slightly affected the experience. Having said all that, overall I'd still give it 5 stars. The reason is simple: for a restaurant, the food is ultimately the most important thing, and we didn't encounter any major disappointments on our order. More importantly, we didn't feel noticeably thirsty after the meal, nor did we experience that greasy feeling left in our mouths and palates after a heavy meal. Of course, these facts alone cannot determine whether the restaurant used MSG, how much, or the specifics of the oil used in the kitchen. However, at least from the actual taste and after-dinner experience, the seasoning didn't feel overpowering, and the handling of the oil was pleasant. Therefore, this was a dining experience where "the service and ambiance could be improved, but the food would make me want to return." If the main reason for returning is for the food, I would recommend it.

Food and service was amazing! Staff were also so welcoming. We got the vermicelli noodles with beef and egg rolls, shaken beef with rice and Thai basil beef. I am taking a short trip in Paris and definitely returning here again before I leave!
