Chicahualco sur Paris

Wanting to try real Mexican, we opted for this restaurant following a report we had seen on the chef. Arriving at the same time as another group, we all waited outside for a little while, without anyone coming to tell us to come in. We are seated at our table. I was not comfortable on the bench with the cushions. It wasn't very pleasant. The menu is quite limited with fairly high prices. Taking orders is quite quick and explanatory. On the other hand, the waiting time is very, very long. The dishes finally arrive, they are not particularly nicely presented given the waiting time. The quantities are quite small for my taste. And the dishes are good but nothing extraordinary. We asked a young waiter for a carafe of water but we received nothing. We contacted the gentleman who had received and served us. He doesn't bring a carafe, but serves us each our own drink. Strange, they waste even more time serving each guest rather than giving a carafe and especially since it is difficult to “catch” a waiter who is looking at us. To conclude, we had gone to eat at a gourmet Mexican place and knew the prices were high, but I was disappointed by the value for money. At these prices, you expect impeccable service and an extraordinary meal. Apart from that it was still approximate or even amateur. In addition, the restaurant was located on a corner of fairly busy streets, the dinner was very “enlightened”. The restaurant has potential but certain points need to be improved and corrected

Cuisine raffinée avec des mets exotiques bien présentés qui surprennent vos papilles. Excellente découverte. La facture est élevée mais certainement justifiée. Salutations à Mercedes qui n'hésite pas à s'attarder aux tables pour expliquer sa cuisine.

The food is very good and the place is very nice. The only drawback I have is that it is very expensive and the dishes are not so big 😥 but to go celebrate a special occasion, like in this case my birthday, it is worth it because it is a gourmet restaurant and from time to time it is good to indulge. that taste Congratulations to the chef for this project and because you can see that she puts a lot of love and dedication into her dishes like a good Mexican.

Go there with your eyes closed! You will find incredible flavors and true expertise in Mexican cuisine. Thank you for this meal and this beautiful evening, I would come back without hesitation!

The restaurant is not a classic Mexican restaurant with big hats and lots of colors. Which doesn't mean it's bad, it's Mexican and French 😊 but everything is well done

Table très originale qui hisse la cuisine mexicaine au rang d'une très belle gastronomie. Notre menu en 4 services était très réussi, du début à la fin. Les vins Clandestino, en blanc comme en rouge, sont assez intéressants.

Jolie adresse dans une rue calme. Carte 3 entrées / 3 plats / 3 desserts. Cuisine bistronomique : présentation recherchée, créativité, gout, saveurs. Tarifs un peu salés mais ce fut un delicieux repas, avec la decouverte de saveurs inattendues.
