I sanded this restaurant as rarely.
I remember at the time when it opened in 2014 it was opulence
The burrito was 8.70 and there was an unlimited soda fountain….
The good times
Since then they have closed the soda fountain (more profitable to sell the cans individually) and the price of the burrito has gradually increased from year to year (with inflation) reaching €11.45 at the time I 'write these lines (2024)
At the beginning there were also toilets which have been “out of order” for years now (that said, there are also some in the shopping center)
The menu has changed relatively little... it goes without saying that for my part I have always stuck to the good old bouritosse, with sometimes chips & guac when I really want to blow my stomach... and possibly a coke…always “nice cold, jackal.”
Still, the place has survived the years, becoming a truly legendary place, emblematic of Beaugrenelle, frequented by young and old, from 7 to 77 years old... a cultural crossroads where young and old, locals and tourists from all over the world mingle. ….
Hats off to the artist!
Food was similar to what is in US. We ordered burrito bowl and when I came back for hot salsa as I had missed it during the order, the staff asked for extra money which was disappointing.
In the fast food category, this Chipotle is doing quite well, thanks to the large, high-ceilinged room with a view of the Seine. The formula is always the same: Tex Mex type ingredients (several meats or vegetarian option, rice, beans, guacamole, etc.) to put in a burrito, tacos or a bowl. Very fast tray service. Convenient for a quick bite to eat before a cinema screening at Pathé Beaugrenelle which is on the lower level.
