Chocolate Bar(re) Jean-Paul Hévin sur Paris

Excellent chocolates served by friendly and attentive staff. JP Hevin fully deserves his title of best chocolatier in the world.

Customer service was lovely. The lady helped me pick out a box of five macarons (€13). Look at that selection of chocolate macarons! She put the most popular one in the box for me. Her favourite macaron was the Vanille one, but we could not finish it and threw it away. I generally don’t get chocolate flavoured macarons, but enjoyed this one. The other flavours were not that good. Violette was too sweet and too much a candy flavour. I enjoyed the visit and would try more of their chocolate macarons should I pass by again!

Always a very warm welcome. I have already visited this store several times, the sellers always give very good advice. The chocolates are of very good quality. I highly recommend this store.

The products are good, but the service... feels like a nuisance. We even wondered if it was open, because there was no one at the counter. Finally someone will come and serve us, with the help of another person hidden behind the store who we can hear giving directions in the distance? Curious experience of purchasing a luxury product 😂. We will never be offered to taste anything despite our hesitations, even though we had announced that we would discover this large house for the first time. After the transaction, we will finally be offered a small chocolate... as a reward for our purchase? Weird. We will return to other chocolatiers, who sell products of equivalent quality, at the same prices... but who also give us a special little moment as a chocolate lover.

Very good quality chocolates and pastries. It's really a shame that the reception is not up to par...

I was going to Ladurée, I saw it in passing, I wanted to try it out of curiosity, their brand is fine, I wasn't disappointed, I recommend it
