good hotel, too bad there is no catering at this one, very good stay, the bridge to cross to go to town is very painful in the evening with every evening critters which are around you for the whole time crossing. Otherwise no problem

We arrived just before 11pm and were offered only snacks and no clear direction for where we could eat so had to skip dinner. Not a great start. The room was small and had a tiny window so was quite dark. Generally, it felt a bit tired and in need of new carpet etc, but it was clean. The hotel is not clearly signed and the parking is hidden away from the road, but there are plenty of spaces. The building is attractive and in a scenic location at the end of a bridge over the river in Nevers and it's possible to cross the bridge on foot to reach the small city. Breakfast was good with a wide selection of good quality food including two hot choices of scrambled egg and bacon in addition to the usual cold options.
